glenn_kujansuu 0 Posted March 8, 2003 The treatment of the snow in the is great and the grasses add to the composition. Link to comment
darin_burt 0 Posted March 9, 2003 I like the color contrast. maybe just a little more of an angle on the line of the grass. A cool shot (pun intended) Link to comment
louis1 0 Posted March 10, 2003 A cool image, well done Vlad. I like the bottom right 2/3rds of the photo but possibly if the stubble was slightly more to the foreground the composition would strengthen. Do you understand me? Louis Link to comment
vlad po... 1 Posted March 10, 2003 I appreciate all comments and ratings. Louis, I agree with you. Actually, contrast between background and foreground should be lower, and it's probably better to have the grass on snow background. Thanks for the suggestion. Will try to do so next time. stevenruder 0 Posted March 11, 2003 When I saw the thumbnail, I thought this was ships somehow engulfed by sand. The grass still does remind me of that as I look at it now. The shadows in the snow really draw your eye around, and there's nice contrast between background and foreground. Cool photo! - Steven Link to comment

hanna_cowpe 0 Posted October 29, 2003 Vlad, I'm not sure whether your new name addition is meant to be in AZ's favour or not. Seems in any case it doesn't carry credit. I think this is a lovely image - one of the better ones in this folder. The low light is a warm touch which balances well with the ice and snow and hasn't caused any exposure problems. I like the blown effect on the snow and grass, reminding me of the chilly winters I spent on the Canadian Prairies. Texture, colours, composition and lighting are all very good IMO. Link to comment
vlad po... 1 Posted October 30, 2003 Gaetan and Hanna, thanks for your nice posts. Hanna, you can judge from *real AZ's* rating here (A/O=3/4) in favour or not and who is who... Link to comment
