I know isn´t nice the theme of deads, we are always looking for

beautiful pictures of landscapes, animals, etc., however the

photojournalism has for target to show the reality.

I took this picture in a museum, The Mummies´s Museum in

Guanajuato México, in this museum there are around 100 bodies well

preserved, including children.

The picture that I am showing, I think, is one of the best preserved

bodies. It is the body of a woman which was buried around 120 years

ago.

Sincerely I hope this picture doesn´t be disgusting or ofensive for you.

Thanks for your comments.

I am assuming this woman was behind glass and therefor you did a nice job of capturing the image. Very nicely done on your part. I am not at all offended by seeing the dead and in fact I would have taken hundreds of photographs of them at this museum.

Not offensive at all, dying is a part of living. I took a lot of MUCH WORSE photos of dead people when I was in Iraq for my combat tours

Unfortunately in museums, the lighting is often very good for viewing things but not very good for taking photographs. I burned in the foreground some to even out the exposure a little.
