have visited this image several times in past couple of days.  it now goes to the top of the class in this series, at least to me. this image just shines in its simplicity, revels in it actually. the colors are just right, and the droplets are nothing less than brilliant. also really like the swiggles in a couple of trailing hairs, helps to give image feeling of motion. am not so sure about the second cross over seed, would really like to see image with and without to make comparison. i say congratulations on a very beautiful and wonderfully presented image. nice work!

Thank you all for your wonderful comments so far...we`re glad you like this image and the rest of our "wind journeys" folder. Some of these photographs will be presented in our solo exhibit early spring next year :-)

Roger, glad you like this ! We had the same thoughts as you about the second seed. Before we posted it, we cloned it away just to see how it worked...and in a strange way this crossing seed really ANCHORS the main subject...and in fact, the whole picture...see for yourself :-)

Warm regards, Anne & Runar :-)

well i down loaded your image and had a wee play. your most certainly right it does seem to anchor down the free floating seed. would have to say my preference is still the single seed,  as without its anchor, it has neither beginning or ending.  i like that, also tried single seed in portrait format that sort of gives you the feeling its floating. it is really marvelous how you have taken this very simple seed and created a bit of magic. soo much out of so little. well done!
