Rachana 14 Posted June 8, 2010 At the time of high-tide, Creek Water is allowed to spread through channels...stored...after 4-5 days water evaporates...Salt remains...Salt is dragged, taken aside and then arranged in the form of heap (see at back). Heaps are covered at the time of monsoon. Link to comment

sumon_mukherjee 0 Posted October 16, 2010 This is a good documentary shot with nice color tones and beautiful reflections. Reflections in the water body are eye-catching. Placements of the diagonal linear elements are effectively enhancing the attraction of the composition. Main problem with this photograph is lack of sharpness. The line separating the water body and the land is slanted toward the left of the viewer. Slanted horizon line is not much appreciated. The foreground of this image is important for the documentary purpose. But the foreground is too large and is reducing the importance of the reflections of the workers. The right bottom corner of the foreground is very dark and it’s noisemaker. I think a portion of the foreground may be cropped out. Taking everything together, it’s a good photograph. I had already rated it (when it was submitted for rating ) with a 5 or a 6. Best regards. Link to comment
