Feeling Small in A Very Large World

I have problems capturing these little guys also.  I end up continuous shooting, and out of 30 shots may only get around 4. And for me, hand holding the camera, ends up really hard on my hand and back.  I definitely need to get a good tripod.  So don't give up! It is possible, but very tedious at times.
