Frank, this is one of the best photos I have seen of Summit Lake. I was up there last Monday and there were people walking everywhere.

So, Jim if you got some time may be we can shooting together.

This was taken 6/6 I wanted to experiment w/ portrait mode panos, but the wind was awful; not so bad at Summit Lake or by the Chicago Lakes overlook.  I was up here last weekend too over by Lake Abyss, with 2deg. wind chill.

Next weekend I 'm going to try the hike from Guanella Pass to Lake Abyss.

Excellent image of this desolate looking place Frank! Looking forward to some more images of your summer travels in your part of the world.

Great 3D look, perfect side light for the cloudscape. There is a brightness gradient in the sky, as corollary of the wide FOV I guess. Maybe I would dodge the UL a bit.
