john_bloggs 0 Posted September 5, 2010 You say 'This is the first (albeit maybe not the best) addition to a whole new series of work I will be presenting which features remote sandstone slots and canyons you likely have not seen photographed before. ' I suggest we see them photographed an awful lot however you do things with photoshop that makes them look like a whole new set of places. I don't like it from a nature viewpoint, or a landscape viewpoint as it is unnatural. I like them form a purely abstract art concept. Without photoshop we'd have nature, which is preferable to my eyes. Link to comment
marcadamus 1 Posted September 6, 2010 I didn't do anything in PS to this shot that anyone else couldn't do very easily and have done ever since the advent of digital processing. I personally guarantee you that you have never seen a shot of this canyon before. Link to comment
abushga 0 Posted November 28, 2010 Marc,Love the glassy, almost translucent quality you give the sandstone. Guessing you selected "fluorescent" in camera or post-processing? I am very curious to know what camera and lens you chose for this enchanting photo. All best wishes,Randy Link to comment
kristina_kraft 0 Posted November 29, 2010 Simply capturing, Marc.I've seen photographs of this canyon from inside. I can imagine it is hard to find a compelling spot and lighting from above once you are in. I love this angle of view.Kristina Link to comment
