Jeff Lear 0 Posted June 7, 2010 You've captured her expression very well and I really like the lighting and skin tones, too. I agree with the others that the catchlights are a little too much, I would remove the secondary (horizontal) reflector and just use the soft-box as your catchlight. I've browsed your portfolio and see that you frequently use large and complex catchlights, often to good effect, I just don't feel they benefit this portrait. I also feel that if you are going to include her knee as a compositional element, it should be in focus. I think this shot would be better without her knee... While it does serve to hint at the model's casual pose, the blue competes for the viewer's attention. Link to comment
