snow fence

I really like the tonal range of this shot, nice spread from whites through greys to black.  The image compositionally I find a little confusing and struggle to be drawn into the picture.  I think there is too much going on in the top third and/or the right third of the frame.  I feel if the trees were not so heavy in the top third of the frame my eye would be carried into the image by the grasses on the right third of the frame.  Vice versa, if the right third had less scrub I think the trees in the top third would help drag my eyes from left to right across the line of the fence. 

Thanks for the review Andrew, this is the first picture that I have ever asked for a review on. This is the full negative shot.  The day was pretty overcast so I was pleasantly surprised that all my shots turned out with as much contrast as they did.  I do not as yet have a filter set for the C700 enlarger that I have.  I shall have to sit down in Photoshop and crop this with your suggestions and see how it turns out.  I don't really use photoshop that much, usually just for changing size and that.
