Jorge,

You have focused well on Namyr's eyes. You have excellent contrast and lighting. This is a very well printed black and white portrait. Her hat frames her face well. The background is nicely neutral and Namyr is well separated from it. She has very good make-up and catch lights. I love the specular highlights on her lips.

While the lighting is excellent, I think her right upper arm is a little bright compared to her face. I would tone it down a bit. It is as bright, if not brighter, than her face and my eyes keep wandering to her arm. You don't want anything to draw the viewer's eyes away from her face.

I like your pose very much. I do think her shoulders are too far forward. Having her shoulders back and chest out would give her better looking posture. Her hands seem a little over-posed -- not quite natural.

The wrinkles at her stomach area bother me a bit.

Your composition looks very good, but I would give her even a little more room to her right so that she could better look into the picture. You want to compositionally balance the left and right sides of the photograph. The compositional "rule" for this suggests that you position the tip of the subject's nose in the vertical center of the photograph.

The color in the word "Photography" draws the viewer's attention away from your subject. It would be quite proper to place your name on the mat. Advertising would be better placed on the back of the photograph.

Nice shot,

Mark
