Beach glass on chair #1

Peoples' still life constructions typically leave me unmoved (I shoot mostly nature subjects) but this is good. Perhaps I just like it because it mimics a fish... Nice job.

This photo was shot in late afternoon winter light, streaming

from my kitchen window. I did a spot-exposure for the wood and

used a 28mm lens. I braced the camera on the chair top. I was

just trying for interesting patterns--light and dark. Several

observers have seen a tropical fish.
