pnital 36 Posted May 20, 2010 This is a beauty, your expertise. It is well depicts the "islands in the sun" the light, the winds, the palm trees, the atmospher .It has enough details to enjoy the feeling you have had while photographing it. How was your journey? Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted May 20, 2010 Hi Pnina; I took this one from a bus on the way to the airport. My last journey was to several locations in Kansas and Colorado and it was fun and challenging and tiring all at once. This photo was from the journey before that journey. Other than trips to and from the airport it was spent mostly underwater which was peaceful, relaxing and meditative. I had 72 hours in between to clean my camera gear ,do laundry and pack for the next trip. It is my intention to stay at home for awhile now and do some work. we'll see how well than plan works out :-) Link to comment
pnital 36 Posted May 20, 2010 Asking about your journey, I ment your very last one! not the caribbean. my comment was about the islands though ,as I like a lot the result of this one, being still in the Carribean. But I'm curious about the last one....;-)) Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted May 20, 2010 If you can produce images such as this between trips to the airport I think you should spend more time on buses and less under water. This is fantastic. Link to comment
gordonjb 10,860 Posted May 21, 2010 Pnina; Thanks for the clarification. Shawn; I also take my camera underwater so all that time making bubbles is not a complete loss :-) Link to comment

rapo 0 Posted September 7, 2011 I like this one a lot. Feather texture. Abstract and narrative in the same time.I did a lot of drive by pictures some time ago. If interested, you can find some in my "on the road" and "agadez niamey" folders.Yours Link to comment
