I can hear the silence

Captured in a foggy afternoon in B&W mode, just contrast adjusted and toned in sepia.

When a photographer can capture the "feel" of the landscape (as verified by the comments of others), you can ask no more.

This shot is the most exquisite shot I have ever seen. I am a Portrait Photographer and give very little attention to landscapes, but this is just too good to pass up! Bravo! Bravo!

I truly enjoy this photograph, the colour, the composition, the subject, the concept (silence - yes I hear it); brilliant!

Thanks for sharing.

I have looked at trees from both sides now, from up and down and still somehow it's trees illusions I recall, I really have not seen trees at all. A spoof of Judy Collins "clouds". Very beautiful and serene.

I can just hear a quiet and low breeze whisper through the trees and over the snow covered ground. This takes me to places I have been only by snowshoe and ski.

This image is so beautiful, that I knew I had to immediately purchase it as a gift for my wife.

Ilona, please, never stop.

I like this, I think the foreground tree is very detailed, and this makes it stand out. I never thought to use a sepia tone on such a cold scene, but this really works. You ought to sell some prints of this.

Is it just me, or does anyone else find this terribly romantic? I certainly do. Great job again, Ilona.
