Squirrel on wall outside the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, DC. Several people were feeding this overly friendly squirrel. I slowly moved up until I had the squirrel full frame.

Looking for comments on composition and quality of photograph.

If you'd taken it in portrait format you'd have been able to fill the frame even better.

I like the "facial expression" on the squirrel. I like the left background better than the right background. If you had moved to the right, you could have gotten more of the green and yellow background in the picture (unless there was something farther left you didn't want us to see).

I agree with the previous individual on how the picture should have been composed, this is assuming there was a better angle for the shot. The squirrel really is cute but is missing his feet as well. Fun picture anyway. Maybe a vertical shot would have accomplished a better image.

great shot! small animals are difficult to get at a good moment and in focus because the move so fast. well done.

Together with the successfull execution of this photograph the 50mm f1.4 lens renders the background a pleasant nondistracting blur.
