Striking Image! It all works together perfectly. I very rarely see a panoramic image in the vertical format that appeals to me. (Most of them seem forced.) This one does appeal to me very much.

This photo really appealed to me - having seen such sights (minus the sun peeking out behind the mountain) Christmas 2000 in Wyoming. How fortunate that you were able to catch that moment.

Though stopped by this one image, I am sincerely impressed with your whole folder. Some of the finest work I have ever seen on photonet.

Bravo!

The photos are stunning...but so are the camera and lenses used ....do you think anything nearabouts is possible with a EOS300 and 28-80 /75-300 lenses (cheap ones)???

Also will I be able to do some night photography with the above equipment??

pls reply.

Thanks .

Very nice picture. At first I could have sworn it was two different photos placed on top of one another, which certainly says something about the excellent contrast.

Great Job Daniel! You have a gifted mind's eye.

Yes, you can take great pictures with cheap equipment. Ansel Adams could take better photos with a K1000, than I could with an EOS 3 and L lenses.

Hello, Daniel.

How did you meter this scene ?

Matrix metering ? Spot metering with compensation shift ? Center weighted metering ?

Very beautiful ...

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my POW, I really appreciate that!

Another great shot brought to us by Dan. The animal tracks lead you into seeing the sun over the mountains in the background.

I will learn much from you.

And by the way, how long did Jesus have to carry you in this shot? :)
