Sorry, which magical fairy land were you tromping around in when you found this shot?

It amazes me the awesome places that people stumble upon...

I could perfectly copy and paste this comment to all of your photos. From what I've seen so far I dare say that you have the best portfolio in www.photo.net. My congratulations.

is a single horn on each horse and there you have it. Beautiful colors and composition.

Obviously you've been spending far too much time in fantasy world, and managed to take a picture of your own immagination...

Did anyone notice that there are in fact two rainbows? Also, the color of the sky is much lighter underneath the rainbow than above, as if it were some sort of dome.

I can just see you sitting there shooting some pretty horses in pretty storm light and then here comes this rainbow. you madly meter the scene (unless you already knew your exposure which i am sure you did) and then frantically find a good composition while trying to screw the camera on a tripod and running all at the same time. great amazing photograph

I am deeply humbled by this image. It is beautiful to look at and it produces this childish fascination and envy at the same time and reminds me of my first encounters with the National Geographic magazine. You are a master of photography - whatever photography is ;)

ahh.nothing wrong with a little horse poop ;-)

this is absolutely stunning. it would make a fantastic sympathy card for horse owners who've just lost their beloved equine. just a thought.

a stunning image indeed!

but...

how could the horses have their shadows in different directions?????

When I saw it I almost laughed out loud...perhaps because it is so perfect!

B.t.w. Jingbo, if you are close to the horses with a wide angle, their shadows will seem to converge...go try it out with a straight line of fence poles.
