Very cool Gail! This has an eastern look to it alright. The third eye gives it away. I like what you've done with this. Curious what you started from though...

All the best,
Neil

The ratings monster got me again!

This piece strongly resembles early central or south American art - Incan or Mayan.  The symbolism in this photograph is amazing, especially the center - emanations of love and spirit projected just through the "mind's eye". Fantastic design, detail, and choice of colors.

Love it!!

No worries about the Ratings monster.  I know by your sincere words just how you appreciate this Composition.  Your traslation is pretty spot on.   Primitive Feel that I was trying to convey was along those lines.

I've always found their Art to be most fascinating and amazing.  Their customs were a little gruesome 'way back when' but their lives were immersed in their beliefs.  I still enjoy reading and viewing any of the 'Discovery Channel' or 'National Geographic' programs about these ancient peoples.  Thanks for your 'take' on this one Mike.  Sincerely, Gail

Amazing!...

I knew There was something to this piece that spoke to me...

Lately I've been learning more of my backround, since I was born in El Salvador, some people ask me if I'm Mayan or Inca, trying to find out my self...

Thankyou for that lovely comment Sal. Life is an interesting journey,  we don't always find all the answers, but learn so many interesting things along the way.

I hope you discover good things on your journey!
