Me gusta mucho, perfecta luz y excelentes tonos.  ... Ideally, the dog looked the other way. With your permission, I make an easy exercise PS.  If you do not like, I remove the image immediately.  Saludos cordiales.

Thanks for your time and example Gallego -  I do believe yours is a nicer composition, although I am not sure how you did it!  If you have the chance, I would appreciate a quick tutorial on the method.

Best, David

I know how to mirror the image, David. I have a photo of myself in my portfolio, in the "My Favorites from 2007 - 2009" folder of myself in a swing. I went to Paint Shop Photo Pro X3 > Image > Mirror. It flipped the image, as if I were in a mirror.

Thanks Janice - looks like a great time on that swing!

What Gallego did was flip just the dog in my photo, leaving the background the same.  I imagine he selected the dog only to reverse, then cloned in any missing background.

Take care, David

I think same, that only dog was selected and flip,in fact I am sure about this, autumn with this ground arround makes this possible better that if it was lot of other elements, and finaly this is a very good shot as all other, best regards David.

Hi David -- Yes a very nice capture of Hans indeed...! (Although I also agree about the proposed flip above by Jordi & think that the photo's composition would be even better, imo, with more visible  space in front of Hans...Unfortunately I don't know how to achieve this type of flip either;-) -- Wishing you a very nice weekend & best regards, Marjolein

I think I like the original better.

Hans looks out of the frame and so it is ok that he stands near to the frame. And the arrangement of the trees harmonizes with the dog's back.

And I like breaking the rules :-)

Great shot, David.

Great Shot David. Once again It looks like you are out in the rain. Beautiful muted tones. Are you sure you don't live out here on the Wet Coast LOL.

Hi Jill, and thanks!

We are probably close to you in the amount of wet cloudy days here in West Michigan.  The big lake likes to keep us well watered!

Take care, David

A wonderful shot, beautiful colors in the forest landscape, but more so it showcases Hans magnificent stature.  A fine dog indeed.
