gunnar1664882369 1 Posted May 11, 2010 Dynamic and powerful! I like the synergy of land, sea(?) and sky. All these are working in the same rhythm. Beautiful tone. Regards. Link to comment

ldavidson 4 Posted May 13, 2010 Dimitris, I am so impressed with this photo. It is stunning. I love the smooth, organic shapes here. It reminds me of a Henry Moore sculpture, I'm thinking of his abstracts of the human form. http://www.bluffton.edu/~sullivanm/mooretoronto/mooretoronto.html Link to comment
dgv 1 Posted May 13, 2010 Linda thank you very much for the link and BRAVO for that comment. This is exactly what I had in mind. H. Moore, the most notable contemporary British sculptor, believed that sculpture should be displayed in fitting surroundings and in the open. He took enormous care of how the light hit his works when displayed until he was satisfied. The tactility of his works, their organic structure and the stored energy that they have, it is what atracts me the most and in my poor attempt here I tried to do the same. Link to comment
3m 0 Posted May 13, 2010 Dimitris, May I just add my compliments to your beautifully composed photo... I think too that you achieved the perfect light, setting, and atmosphere for this impressive 'time sculpture'. A truly remarkable capture, indeed...! Compliments & best regards, Marjolein Link to comment
