I really like this Black & white image of Times Square. Nice simple tight composition.  Yet it manages to include all the elements which go together to make up this famous landmark. Well done! Pat

Nice shot....captures the city well. In terms of composition, my only critique is it a bit too centered for my taste. I would have liked to have seen the taxi either more to the left or right.

Thank you all!

Why not for the taxi, but have you seen the man on the other side of the road, on the left ?

For me, he was a response of the first person on the right like a mirror and for these reason i prefer the taxi between both people.

What do you think about that ?

Good point. I like all of the elements in the photo as is, there is just something "static" about it with them positioned the way they are within the frame (which reduces the full impact of the car in motion and the excitement of the city). The unfortunate thing about street photography is we often must accept what is given. You really couldn't incorpotate my suggestion and maintain all of the elements in the frame as they are. It is really a judgement call and I think it works fine as is.

Beau travail, composer avec une multitude d'elements d'une grande ville, et en mouvement en plus.

On n'a pas l'impression que c'est du 17mm...  je ne vois pas de distortion, surement un excellent objectif.

Bravo.
