Thanks very much Mike & Patsy.  Hans has got a lot of personality, and is just about the most affectionate dog I've ever owned.  He's a holy terror in the woods though - and wants to bring me every skunk or porcupine he finds . . .

Hans looks like he wants a hot dog. Very nice photo. Hans looks very intelligent. Fred often gives me this look. Not to be critical: just trying to learn. Why did you cut off his legs in this shot?

The composition here was intended to feature Han's head and expression, while including the plant at lower left for balance.  A longer view may have been nice as well - just different!

Dirk this is a fine breed - (from your homeland as I'm sure you know).  Very intelligent and affectionate.  They need lots of exercise and human contact though.

Your choice of 'color' editing certainly has produced a nostalgic shot.  Just beautiful.  Now on to Hans, what a handsome fellow, with such a gentle face.  I have not had a dog in a few years and miss mine terribly.  You certainly must love this fellow, and there is no doubt in my mind that he loves you very much, what a loyal friend to have.  Warm regards, Gail

My pup Chappie does that questioning look all the time. Its like he knows what I'm saying or really trying to understand.  I need to catch that look. So Nice!
