This is the kind of portrait that intrinsically seems to have a story to it. It's a very charming composition with good black and white contrast throughout, and lovely little details from his boots to his cigarette all of which contribute to the idea that this is a happen chance capture rather than a carefully executed photograph. Only the perfection of the light, the artistry of the execution tell us this is a posed shot. Beautiful work.
