Uhooru 2,207 Posted May 23, 2010 This is great. Captures a lovely story and your girl is cute as buttons as are the kids. Has a classic black and white look, straight at your no B.S. even if maybe there is a lot of space on top, but that is filled with content too. In fact the whole folder is great. So most from the 60's? What a nice way street photography turns into documentary. Really enjoyed the folder. Link to comment
michaelmarcus 0 Posted May 25, 2010 yes I have so many negatives and slides yet to scan. this was perhaps taken with my first SLR, a Nikkormat with no meter (hell, I guessed the exposure!) or a Kodak Retina rangefinder preset for focal distance (now the exact terminology has just flown out of my head) and also just guessing exposure. I had read that Henri Cartier-Bresson only used a 50mm lens on his Leica, and when I had the Nikkormat that was all I used, fancying myself ever since as one who is pursuit of a decisive moment or two.
