“One-half of life is luck; the other half is discipline — and that’s

the important half, for without discipline you wouldn’t know what to

do with luck.” -- Carl Zuckmayer

I consider this a lucky shot. The discipline? ....waiting patiently

for the wind to drop and the ripples to smooth. When it did stop

blowing, I captured just this one image, then the wind came back.

Thanks for your comments and critique on this shot from Grand Teton

National Park in Wyoming.

If I get anything near this good it is usually 99% luck.  Did you try any exposures with a slower shutter to soften the water?  Great work and thanks for sharing.

Beautiful photo.  The colors of the trees seem a bit oversaturated on my monitor, but this is only a minor nit.  Thanks for sharing this photo.

Dylan,

Beautiful capture of mountains and lake.  Beautiful water reflection. Nice color contrast.

Please feel free to comment any of my St. Augustine photos.
