Jan,

Yes, she is a pretty girl. You have focused very well on her eyes. She has good eye contact with the camera (viewer) and has a nice smile. The background is nicely neutral and she is well separated from it. The subtle gradation of background tones is done very well.

Her skin tone looks quite good, but It could be a little lighter. Lightening the entire image may bring out some detail in the blacks and it will make the whites of her eyes whiter. They are a tad gray.

Your positioning of your subject within the frame is very good, but I would add a little on the bottom to make your top and bottom compositional balance even better.

She is well separated from the background, but a back or hair light would add some nice highlights to her hair. It would also help separate her even better.

You have two catch lights in each eye. One catch light per eye is preferred. The ideal location for the catch lights would be at about the 10 or 2 o'clock position on her irises -- not both.

It would be good to soften her face a little. This would lessen any imperfections in her skin. You should lighten the dark circles under her eyes.

Nice shot,

Mark
