Halfdome

Not a bad picture from the overlook at Glacier Point. The constrast values are a little flat, perhaps it was taken in the gloaming of dusk or perhaps on a very cloudy day?

I have seen several pictures of Halfdome, however none (that I have seen) have ever really captured a perspective that displays why the peak was given its name......NOW I CAN SEE WHY!! Great perspective, minimized contrast gives it a mysterious appeal.

While I like this perspective, the contrast is very soft and the tree in the lower right corner is a distraction

As you can see from the right third of the picture, there was just too much haze.
