Karolos, superb composition and control of light & exposure. The two figures enhances the beauty  of this image.

This is beautiful Karolos. It brings back many memories for me as I visited this Cathedral many years ago.  Viewing the image larger is certainly impressive.  The lighting is very complimentary and just right for this place of worship.  Thankyou for giving us the history of this magnificent place.  You did a wonderful job of capturing the intimate atmosphere. Most sincerely, Gail

A magnificent cathedral.  I agree:  the colors and lighting are lovely.  I particularly enjoy the ceiling and numerous arches leading to joyful windows.  It's funny the two people you captured:  one looking and the other down.  I guess they're showing different perspectives on how to look at things, perhaps optimistic or pessimistic, faithful or despondent.  Both seem a bit swallowed by where they are though.  Perhaps we are just pieces of a great design.  It's a lovely place, and you convey peace and spirituality.

BTW, I really enjoyed reading your written description.  You're a good writer

Beautiful image. The light is fantastic. You managed to keep all the detail of the glass work. The two persons give the dimension to this edifice. Regards, Jean-Marc

Usually the Gothic cathedrals impose a tilt of the cameras upwards, so are they impressive , specially with the converging vaults and their masonry perfection. Though , the presence of the two praying persons , dictated a different compositional approach  that brings on the stage the human as main source of interest. Not bad, for a landmark that has been recorded in every possible angle !  The crispness of the details and the slightly off -centre  composition add your  personal touch ,Karolos, and avoid the ever-boring, perfectly symmetrical stereotypes in shooting  gothic  interiors( from  which I cannot yet deviate!)

W O W...this is one fine piece of architecture not to mention the spot of sacred geometry  in this beautiful glowing image ~ one can feel the silence as well as the reverence.  Always a pleasure to stroll by and see what you have been seeing and sharing. BEAUTIFUL****
