handmade Wide macro lense shot - Flying honeybee

I used a Handmade macro lense to shot this photo.

(lens spec - MF macro F2.8~300 1:1 macro)

I`ve tried to capture a photo like this one for quite some time, but haven`t succeeded in any way close to this one... Incredible photo as a whole! This image is full of life, action and drama. Anonymous 7/7 came from my mouse and I`d love to rate this even higher.

What kind of self made lens did you use to shoot this one?

This makes me think of "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" movie.  I feel like I'm right in one of the scenes about to be carried away by the bee.

I love wide-angle animals shots, and this one in the macro field is really great. I would wish for a slightly less distracting background, yet, a powerfull image. Cheers, Mark.
