I read your forum post, and if you meant by "raw" - straight out of the box, there is a lot you can do before uploading to make sure that the photo will appear like you see it in your mind's eye. First make sure it is jpg and the proper size. But you can check the color "profile" to see if it is being color managed (your camera may have a setting for Adobe or other profiles).

 

When you upload to the internet it will automatically change to SRGB, the international web format, losing saturation and gaining contrast. So convert it first and you will get a preview of what it should look like. To demonstrate what you may have lost, I have attached this version with added saturation and lightening of the darker areas.

 

I did not see excessive grain and your work is beautiful.
