whydangle 0 Posted April 22, 2010 Hey David, wonderful Landscape. Gorman is looking good, but we have been wet and cool this year by comparison to normal. I am typing this while the rain falls in Bakersfield and the snow falls in the Sierras over 4,000 feet. I think this could be a banner year at Gorman once we get a steady warm spell over 80 degrees in the valley. keep checking this location for a blooming explosion in a couple of weeks. If I am wrong, well it's exciting to think about! Link to comment
anat1 0 Posted April 22, 2010 Beautiful! A version with less sky may also be very nice. Kudos! Link to comment
daverave 1 Posted April 22, 2010 Concurring with "a n" above, I think that cropping out that bit of blown out cloud at the top of the image would be a big improvement and not hurt the overall impact at all. You know how the eye just gets drawn to the bright white in an image and that negatively impacts the overall balance of the photo. Link to comment
marc_dilley1 0 Posted April 22, 2010 Great arrangement of the flowers into an arc; works very well with the clouds. Not very often these midday shots work, but this is just excellent. I do agree with the others regarding the small blown spot of cloud. Link to comment
