dan_andrews 0 Posted March 18, 2001 Toby-- What a wonderful example of surrealism. This is clearly a case of photographic art, as opposed to photography as mere technique. There's not much about this picture to dislike ... it is imaginative (but I'm glad you credited your inspiration), interesting, and interpretive. A bigger scan would make the picture better still, because then I'd try to look for all the little details that aren't quite there.... Link to comment
John G. 0 Posted March 18, 2001 I'd like to see the print, to see the feeling of gloomy overcast weather. If I saw the print, I wonder if I would have more interest in what's going on, and where it was taken. Great technique, can you carry it around, and have you got any closer up subjects? tobyvidnes 0 Posted March 18, 2001 Thank you for taking time to comment on my picture, but most of all thank you for liking it! I'm sorry I didn't make a bigger scan this time, but I'll update my folder with one soon! I'm a member of a Norwegian photosite as well (www.foto.no), and I followed the standards from there when I made the scan! I don't have a print from it yet, it is only scanned from a colorslide and it is desaturated in Photoshop 5.5. Link to comment
