hstelljes 41 Posted April 21, 2010 Well you've got an original idea, certainly got my attention. Is that rail being hit by the setting sun or a powerful flash? Hard to tell the time of day but as I said interesting shot.Sincerely,Holger Link to comment
jeffwatts 0 Posted April 21, 2010 Holger - thanks for your comments. This is actually a B&W 35mm shot taken in the late 1970's which was digitized and enhanced with color with Picasa. The rail light is coming from a mid-day sun. I like the shot for the dramatic effect of being close to the rail when shooting. I'm glad there wasn't a train coming! Jeff Link to comment
ananda1 0 Posted April 23, 2010 Unless and untill your explanation, it is difficult to believe that its BW and digitally modified. Well it got my attention for two reason first the chalise (orange color) and the second being the straight line formed by the track. I am not sure about the fg because it looks burnt (not sure again) for me (may be my monitor settings?)RegardsAnand Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted November 30, 2010 Well done, Jeff. There is always a shot out there just a few feet away. I like the contrast between the sky and foreground, combined with that long, straight rail.--Lannie Link to comment
