The Golden Hour

The icelandic volcano dust contributed to the yellow sky, almost

looking like a tabacco filter had been placed on the lens. Taken

before sunset the golden light shimmered on the wet rocks, I hope the

water movement provided a dynamic element and useful textural

counterpoint to the solidity of the rocks.

Jane, very nice image. The water almost looks like mist or fog because of the timed exposure, it creates an almost eerie feel. interesting shades and definition. Feels more colorized than a color photo. Very well done. - Charles

Beautiful soft tones... warm touch to those cold hard rocks.

Excellent long exposure, just enough to give a slight swirl to the waves.
