Hi Fabrizio, this is a spectacular shot, rich in colour and lots of interesting little details. However, you really need to view the larger version to appreciate how good it is. Nice to see a different perspective of Rome.

a wonderful perspective... very well photographed

Great shot, beautiful light, and good attention to detail...a shot that brings back many memories.....on April 8th, 1973, I explored the Forum Romanium.....awed by the ancient ruins, the air so 'heavy' with 'history'......walking along paths where you could see the indentation in the stone on the ground from the wheels of the 'chariots'. To be walking on ground that so many millions of people have walked before dating back so far into history.

 

Love your POV...especially because when walking on the ground, I was not aware that the Colluseum was so close by. Your shot on this beautiful sunny day brings back so many memories.....thankyou for sharing this shot.....warmest regards, Gail
