it's good, but the light area around the boy is distracting

Very interesting comment, Doug, the light area came from applying the tone mapping filter before going B&W, the image was rather dull before I did it.

I like the scene, very good moment of a street musician. The boy in the picture not looks a realistic pariticularly how he is sitting. Seems like it is taken from an other photo. Best regards.

Thanks for stopping by, Gunnar, the boy was right there and I took this picture on the steps of Genoa Cathedral thinking that their relative poses are funny. I applied tone mapping before switching to sepia, perhaps your impression of the cloned boy came from contrast effects caused by this filter. 

Good choice of tones.  I like the expression.  Ben
