arup 0 Posted April 7, 2010 This is a breathtaking pic. Effect of high shutter speed is mind-boggling. It can't get crisper than this. I would suggest you to remove that boat. The image will look great even without that boat. Link to comment
nabs 0 Posted April 7, 2010 Yes this one needs to be viewed larger. Only to feel the full force of this stunning capture. Wow, what an awesome picture. Nature's fury in layers. Mauve, beige, green, yellow, muddy, brown and white. You got it all. I can almost hear the boom. I wonder who was that brave soul in the boat taking on the might of Nature. Fantastic. Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted April 7, 2010 Strong capture. Just the right shutter to emphasize on the power of the element. Nice the little boat on the left giving the fall the real dimension. Compliments! Link to comment
melloncollie 0 Posted April 7, 2010 i am not sure that photoshopping that boat was a very good idea, because it is very obvious that the waterfall is not that big, and it didnt lift the picture up very much anyway. if i look at the big version there are lots of artifacts of clone stamping, especially on the right side. your vision is not bad but you should be much more careful at the post-processing if you want to produce high quality images. hope you dont mind my critique. regards! gungajim 75 Posted April 8, 2010 Last night I read this month's issue of National Geographic which had an excellent feature on glacier melt on the Himalayan Plateau. I hope this is due to snowmelt rather than retreating glaciers but I fear that at least some of it is the latter. Excellent stop action on the waves and falls. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 64 Posted April 8, 2010 This is an awesome shot, Sumon, and the boat reinforces the size and power of this wonder of nature. --Lannie Link to comment

karolostrivizas 2 Posted April 8, 2010 The precise exposure Sumon accentuates all these rich beige/brown tones of the turbulent water. ………Also excellent light treatment and depthfull composition. …….My congrats for one more successful capture. ..7/7 anon. Link to comment
