Guest Guest Posted November 3, 2010 Your mom is bathed in beautiful light but that is only the supporting enhancement here to the humanity and sense of life you've captured. There is absolutely no pretense here, just a direct connection. You're unobtrusive, allowing her privacy and concentration. The details, noticeable but not at all distracting, help provide a visual narrative. I don't know this woman, but I can relate, through your ability to quickly visualize a scene as much as a moment. The gesture of her hand in the foreground is quite moving to me and defines a lot of the depth in this photo. Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted November 3, 2010 My Mother-in-law actually but a sweetheart nonetheless. No cover up here; what you see is what you get. A scene repeated many times in rural homes across the continent. (or worldwide for that matter) Thanks for taking the time to dig through my posts to get to this one. Much appreciated. Best, LM.
