rdubay 0 Posted February 25, 2003 Wow! This is great and the sepia tint works wonderfully with this. I would have shooed the crow off after this shot just to have an alternate- but this is the keeper. Link to comment
rajiv1 0 Posted February 26, 2003 Composition is great and so are the tones. The crow seems to be lost in space (sic). The theme is emphasized well with the foreground in silhouette. I guess the only distraction is the trees in the wholly artificial environment. But it is pretty small issue with this lovely shot. Overall and excellent picture. Link to comment
tcairns 0 Posted February 26, 2003 Kind of humorous - Space Needle Vs. Edison. Nice composition and contrast. I think the crow is the icing on the cake. Link to comment

mark_burnett 0 Posted February 27, 2003 Great composition, have tried shooting this shot my self without the success you had with this shot. Link to comment
root 0 Posted February 27, 2003 Clever . . . I think the nature versus man theme is even stronger without the trees. Consider a square crop. Link to comment
john_paskey 0 Posted February 27, 2003 Very orignal. I don`t think it would look as good with a square crop. Link to comment
jud 0 Posted February 27, 2003 Very cool! It is sort of Blade Runner-esque. The clouds and toning work very well. You have done an outstanding job of taking a complex cityscape, and isolating simple, powerful elements to create a striking image. I really like the "Needle vs. Ediston" spin, too. Well done! brad_biringer 0 Posted February 27, 2003 I really like the symmetry here. The juxtipositioning is very original. Link to comment
rick vincent 1 Posted February 27, 2003 I agree that the trees in the bottom of the frame add unnecessary information. The square crop idea may work, although I would hate to see you lose too much of the clouds above the bird. I find little else to fault this photograph. Link to comment
