AndyMiller 0 Posted April 4, 2010 Hi Sergey - I use a converted D100 for my Infrared - haven't used film for years. Quite like this shot but possibly even less foreground and more sky. I find the main difficulty is that one may have a good eye for B&W but it does not help a lot with IR unless you know how the elements of the picture are going to react. The other IR in this series is an example - the tree in shadow has hardly reacted to the IR and gone almost black. I think digital IR is easier as I can alter White Balance and have more scope with the image in a computer. Just a thought - try a horizontal flip with this image. Critique but no rating as I do not feel qualified to rate this. Link to comment

I agree with you about difference in ability to take B/W & Infrared B/W!.....Some study and getting used to Infrared is necessary.... Thanks so much for your tip about conversion!....... I will definitely try that!.... By the way, i took a look at your IR folder of your portfolio..... Very nice photos indeed!!!..... Well done.... Wish you all the best..... Cheers Link to comment
