many times we strive for that Ansel Adams' full' tonal range but there are times when a curtailed tonal range adds a mood and feeling to an image that would not be otherwise possible under the aforementioned scenario. I like it and ponder whether I would have made the overall image even lighter and closer to what I think of as 'high key'. Fine job and thanks for some recent comments on my images which are always appreciated. Had lots of stuff going on this week and even more non-photographic things for the Easter week-end so I have not been able to spend as much time on PN. Happy Easter and good egg hunting!

Dear Jeff! Always touching your last images, like frames of an impressive movie. In this case the fading effect pefectly conveys the emotional message. Happy Easter to you and your family!

Bob: Thanks. Photos don't do her justice.

Alberto: I'm glad you like how I managed this one.

Tony: It's always a pleasure to see your work. I pushed this up a notch more, and Gabi disappeared altogether. Usually, I don't have time to toy with photos much. A few quick clicks and it's posted. But this time, I was on hold with my cell phone company and took advantage of the hours and hours (I'm exaggerating) that it took. Thanks so much.

Mehmet: Thanks so much.

Claudio: I hope your holiday is wonderful as well. The original photo was the exact opposite of this one, so I'm glad you liked the ephemeral quality.

Linda L: Surprisingly, I almost entitled this "Life Is But a Dream," but thought it was too cheezy a title. But if you ask my wife, I'm a big ol' block of Velveeta anyways, so thanks for the confirmation.

"Angelic" comes to mind Jeff - with all extranious detail diminished - leaving only the suggustion of a beautiful childs' face.

Well done, David

Model Jeff, she is very beautiful in each form you choose to photo her. She is in a dream, her own and ours as viewers.

It would be a great portrait anyway, but this development takes it to a superior, almost ethereal, stage.

Congrats

David W: She does appear angelic in pictures. Ah the illusion that photography can create!

Pnina: Thanks so much. She's funny. She gets so concerned about seeing herself on the LCD screen that I can't get her to pose for the camera anymore.

Joao: Ethereal is exactly what I was trying to capture--a great word.

Koushik: I've been trying to replicate pre-digital photo techniques from decades ago, this being one of them. Thanks.

Tatjana: She's more special than a photos can convey.

El: Thanks so much.

Trisha: She's such a stunning little girl. Most of the time she has dirty hands and knees, hair askew, and is a little emotional dynamo.
