mg 0 Posted February 25, 2003 Oh, wow ! I really really love this one... Probably my 2nd favorite image of yours - with "In the warm room"...It's been ages I hadn't seen such a delicate and elegant portrait nor a portrait with sucha fabulous light... And there's so much in this expression !I'm fascinated, Emil... Thanks a lot: you made my day ! Link to comment
blago 0 Posted February 26, 2003 Separated by a day, separated by a century Emil, you managed to compress a century into a 8 sec. exposure! Long exposure portraits - it is the dawn of photography. They used to use complex machinery to support the models and keep them motionless, because they were after sharp portraits. But, maybe, we are fed up with sharp images and you are showing us how to use the long exposure to take a soft and romantic portrait and how easily :-) the usual problem of the model's eyes winking could be solved - just put that dreamy look on the model's face :-) Blago Link to comment
marcelosoriarodriguez 0 Posted February 26, 2003 Fantastic portrait. I cannot find any criticism, so let me just praise this picture and you (your work is so great in general!). I think her expression is just perfect, who should we congratulate for that? Do you ask your models to adopt certain expressions and then leave something up to them or do you not stop until you get what you have in your mind? Great as usual, but this one has something more in it which makes me want to look at this image constantly... Thanks for sharing your work with us, kind regards, Link to comment
