Wayne Sadler 738 Posted March 30, 2010 Re-creation of light and dimension in Centennial Olympic Park on the eve of the 2010 Atlanta Marathon. I would appreciate comments and critique. Link to comment
pfranklin 0 Posted March 31, 2010 Very artistic, the pp work must have taken some time; nice effect. I think a large print would look beautiful! Warm regards, Pamela Link to comment

Wayne Sadler 738 Posted March 31, 2010 Thanks Pam and Patsy. A little work, but as with all of us artists, a whole lot of thinking. I felt that instead of marking the foreground with a sharp, in focus subject, I would try a different take on how to emphasize the 3 dimensional. The pool with its blurred reflection still provided enough interest with the patterns within it to establish the foreground. The wall marking the midground also made for a distinct separation between the foreground and background which I tried to relegate to a little less than a third of the image but process it to make it more vivid, other worldly-like and dimensional Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 31, 2010 This is absolutely splendid work from you and a lot of thinking behind this beautiful creation. I love the colorrange and tones and the lighting is stunning. Also a very interesting object to photograph. In some way it reminds me in some parts of a garden in Japen. Congratulation. Take good care Wayne and all the best from Jannica Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 738 Posted March 31, 2010 Thanks, Jannica. As you can probably tell I am borrowing aspects of your "seeing". Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted August 31, 2012 A very interesting and well achieved post-processing. The conversion to an illustration-like image works very well here. DG Link to comment
