lyle bergman 0 Posted February 23, 2003 Neat color, great framing! I like the way the ground seems to open up from the bottom. The bottom right seems to detract just slightly, though. But overall, very good! Link to comment
morey_kitzman 0 Posted February 24, 2003 This is my last in a series of the Mesa Arch. This one was captured with the Fuji 617. If you compare it to Mesa Arch III in this folder, taken at the same time with the Mamiya 7, it is interesting how this image tends towards the yellows and the Mamiya version towards the blues. Your comments and ratings are appreciated. Thanks. Link to comment
nickjohnson 0 Posted February 24, 2003 I see why you keep coming back to that same arch. Breathtaking work. If I had to nitpick, I'd say I'd like it rotated 2 degrees to the right and maybe, and I mean maybe, ten degrees down. I can't complain. Link to comment
root 0 Posted February 24, 2003 A nice variation on a the classic composition. tough exposure. well done. Link to comment
vishwa 0 Posted February 24, 2003 this is fantastic. This is exactly the kind of thing that uplifts the composition from your previous posting to something really special. Link to comment
jwedehase 0 Posted February 24, 2003 I like the colors, and love the point of view. I only wish the foreground weren't quite to underexposed. I feel slightly cheated. However, there is also the possibility that this may hurt more than help. Maybe I'm undecided. Link to comment
dan san 0 Posted February 24, 2003 I absolutely love this photo - this would look good enlarged, framed and hung on a wall! Link to comment

don_bustamante 0 Posted February 25, 2003 This is a great pic. I like the composition. A very minor nit: it appears a bit dark on my monitor. Link to comment
ernst_kruijff 0 Posted February 26, 2003 This is just a superb picture, even though the other taken from the same perspective is colour-wise even better Link to comment
martin_altmann 0 Posted February 26, 2003 Wow, incredible shot. I think the dark foreground adds to the atmosphere Link to comment
rob_rokwell 0 Posted February 26, 2003 Perfect shot. Breathtaking. The landscape detail on the left looks more like a painting than a photograph. Very artistic! Link to comment
fabgo 0 Posted February 26, 2003 Has this image changed? I don't remember it being so dark without any detail in the foreground? Link to comment
