Really nice lighting. What's with the balloons/condoms?

So tell me, what is the story? A hard night on a stiff mattress in a military barracks?. This was no romantic interlude I perceive, despite the celebratory balloons. Tecnique is admirable. Subject a little obscure, but what do I know, Sergei....a Dostoevskian image maybe..I wish you well, aloha, gs

I think this would be an all-around great image, if it weren't for the balloons. I would assume they were in the middle of an argument or something. The balloons just don't fit in my opinion. Fantastic environ and nice lighting!

I think the "balloons" are blown up condoms. Hence we are looking at a night of sexual frustration, impotency, feelings of guilt etc. What else to do with the condoms but to blow them up? Great photo Sergei, great theme for the other shots.

particularly struck me ..... tell the story that is already complicated if

you should write the verse, let alone with the shots!
