Lahaina at dusk

Love the colors and the layout of the photo a lot. But to me it would have been an outstanding photo (I think)if it would have been a sharper focus. Were you on a boat at the time, its really a beautiful scene.

Try scanning it at a smaller size, and adjust the screen size by changing the pixels per inch rather than the percent. I've had much better luck using this technique. A good size (in pixels) for this kind of photo would be perhaps 1000x600 (remember, photonet will compress it down to 2/3 size). Also, use PS tools straighten out that horizen - just do a crops box and rotate it until the top is parallel to the horizen. It's a good pic, I think, but I can't really comment on it till I know what it really looks like.
