Great pose, very sharp and glossy blackbird! To bring it out even more, perhaps a tighter crop would work even better, cutting out the OOF bits of branches in lower left and upper right corners?

I agree. Possibly a square format would be pleasing, and remove the superfluous from the right. Just a thought. A very nice capture, would love to have your lens. Thanks for sharing.
