As a hairdresser , I see these little people doing this all of the time , but you have made it beautiful , even with the scratch .

Thank you Joannie ... yes, that's the second time she does it ... but we've all been through it!

This is a striking portrait. I love the angle and the black and white processing. Even though I rarely retouch people's "flaws" in my own photographs, I find the main focus of this shot to be the scratch on her nose. I probably would have gotten rid of it in post. The only reason I say this is it doesn't seem to be contributing anything to the main idea of the photograph unless she cut her nose with the scissors. But maybe I'm missing the point.

 

Either way, it's a beautiful shot.
