This Baroque church was built in thanksgiving for deliverance of Venice

from the plague of 1630 (completed in 1687).

...thanks for dropping by - this is an unusual structure comprising a dome covered octagonal space with six side chapels around the circumference. It is also one of the very few churches in Venice in which photography is actually permitted (no flash or tripods). Cheers, RickDB
