Interesting use of textures. The composition is strong putting the bird high in the frame. I wish the face of the bird was a little lighter and not quite so dark.

thanks for your comments, everyone. cheers. this one was changed on impulse at the last minute before i uploaded. the original was darker and less blue.

Beautiful image and very dramatic. I like both versions; the original for the silhouette aspect and the second for the color - both are excellent and I would have had a difficult time choosing which to post. Thank you for letting us see both! Great image and very well done! :)
