Did the same adjustment as with the other picture and upped the contrast a little more.

 

Hope this helps.

 

(Composition wise I'd have stepped a little to the left and panned to the right so the subject would be a little more off center. Exposure wise I'd think it would improve from a little wider open aperture.)

Love the subject Jason!

 

A couple things that I think would help this photo.

 

As mentioned already, I think going to a larger aperture would give your subject more distinction from the background. (details list it at f9)

 

Also it says this was taken at ISO 1600.

 

For landscapes I think it is more effective to use the lower ISO settings.
